Named in honour of legendary country pioneer Gram Parsons, The Parsonage is a 50-strong choir based in Glasgow. The Parsonage repertoire draws inspiration from the raw, storytelling simplicity of the folk, country and blues traditions as well as from classic pop and new wave, creating a unique sound which is a million miles away from traditional religious or classical choral material.
The choir has performed 30 times since its inception and has developed a strong and ever-increasing repertoire. This has included 3 artist commissions for specific gallery performances and a wide variety of festivals and events.
If it seems that this release is just missing the holiday season....well, the vinyl will actually be released in time for Xmas. So spread the joy of human voices in harmony and join in with The Parsonage vibe!
