The OSCarr label was started as an outlet for local talent and underground acts that Optimo were excited to highlight and applaud. Past releases include: Bis’s EP of Factory Records covers (2001), including their inspired vocoder version of Joy Division’s Love Will Tear Us Apart, ProForma (2002 - featuring Paul Thompson, pre-Franz Ferdinand), and X Vectors’ brilliantly witty floor-filler Now Is The Winter Of Our Discotheque (2007).

Optimo Espacio is Glasgow’s Sunday night clubbing institution. It celebrated its 10th anniversary last November, confirming the club as one of the best-loved and most loyally attended in the country.
